The Cressi 'Corsica' Snorkel is a apnea/spear/freediving optimised snorkel in that the material used is insanely soft, making it fold under the pressures of water, not flap and bang against your head, it's also impossible to crush!

The high-memory of this silicon/rubber polymer can be banged on wrecks and rocks without any structural damage. Instead of running this material through the entire snorkel Cressi have placed a hypo-allergenic material for the mouth piece.

These days most people think that dry-tip snorkels with big purge valves are the best but it really depends on what you're doing. Dry-tips and purges tend to impede on the experience when freediving because water can get in through the purge. The problem with a dry-tip is they can shut at undesired times, the worst being right during your big breath-up, there's nothing worse than that source of air rudely shutting.
