History: In June of 1945, Stan Musial was shipped to Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, where he worked on a unit repairing ships damaged by the Japanese attack in 1941. Musial – wearing #14 - was a member of a National League All Star team which played a seven-game series against AL All-Stars in Hawaii. He was issued this #14 uniform. Billy Herman, Johnny Pesky, and Ted Williams also participated in the series, which was won by the NL, four games to three.
